As one last effort to escape the witch, Cu Chulainn jumped across to an island located at the southern part of the Cliffs of Moher. The witch also jumped over to him. He jumped back and she soon followed, however, this time, the wind did not help her reach the other side and she fell. The location of where she fell is now known as the Hag’s Head.
The Rock of Cashel
