When it comes down to it, I’m a party animal.
Since January 2012, I’ve partied in more than 45 countries and 100 cities across The USA, Europe, Central America and Asia.
It all started when I decided to go to the biggest party college in the USA- The University of Wisconsin-Madison. That was the single best decision of my life, and I would be nowhere on my journey today if I chose to attend any other University.
The second best decision of my life was studying abroad in Prague during the Spring semester of 2012. During that semester, I partied at least 5 nights a week and that was also when I got into the Electronic Dance Music scene (EDM). I’m pretty sure that I went to every single night club and well-known bars around Prague. And on weekends during my time abroad, I found myself partying in other European cities such as Berlin, Belgrade, Budapest, Vienna and Barcelona.
After I graduated college, I immediately took a job as an English teacher in Seoul — the party capital of Asia. I lived there for 18 months, and on every single weekend, I went clubbing in Gangnam (the nightlife district). On vacations, I was partying in various Asian cities such as Bali, Tokyo, Bangkok, Hong Kong and Taipei.
I love EDM, music festivals and night clubs. I’ve been to over 15 EDM music festivals around the world, such as EDC Vegas, Bonnaroo, Sensation Amsterdam, Magnetic Prague, Ultra Korea, Tomorrowland Belgium and Sziget in Budapest.
The crazy people, the dancing, the neon lights, the blasting music and the overall experience at music festivals and nightclubs just keep pulling me in for more.
Of course I also enjoy mingling at pubs, bars, friends houses, rooftop terraces, beer gardens, etc… But my favorite place to be is inside a nightclub or music festival until 6 in the morning.
In this party section of my blog, I will share my detailed nightlife guides for various cities that I’ve partied in around the world. In each article, I include general information about the nightlife scene, and list the best clubs, bars and places to go out around town.
Everything you read about comes from my own personal experiences!
